This looks like a cool notebook but it's startling how it downloads a ZIP every time it runs! 😅 Do you need the performTestDownload and the makeZip call at the end? Could just have something like `Inputs.button("Download", {reduce: makeZip})`

oh yes of course! sry, on firefox it actually has a bug that doesn't let it download so I didn't even notice that behavior and switched to a "notebook kit" that had a button in it. in the meantime let me comment out that section doing the automatic download until I have the button in place.

Does sap flow follow daylight hours?! Do trees "wake up"?!

oh absolutely. Even though I'm not a plant researcher you can see they take a minute to get going in the day. If I wasn't showing the whole year at a time the individual day range would be easier to spot. Another funny thing is that sometimes even at night the sap flows "backwards"
