I need to add an id when defining a canvas:

let out = DOM.canvas(inputImage.width, inputImage.height);

solution was to:
let out = Object.assign(
  DOM.canvas(inputImage.width, inputImage.height),
  {id: "canvasOUT"}
)

mycanvas = {
  const canvasUid = DOM.uid("canvas");
  return Object.assign(html`<canvas width="128" height="128" id="${canvasUid.id}" />`, { canvasUid });
}

@cpietsch the Object.assign in your example is redundant ;) (and HTML5 doesn't require self-closing tags for void elements):
mycanvas = html`<canvas width="128" height="128" id="${DOM.uid("canvas").id}">`

New API is is that image(props) takes props to pass to underlying IMG tag https://github.com/observablehq/stdlib/blob/a2d491965d08a43290fbd09ab131b322dd6c8e44/src/fileAttachment.js#L45

So you can do .image({width: "400px"}) or even .image({ style: "max-width: 640px;" }) for a responsive one.

FYI: The Arquero library does not include the 'view' method as implemented here:

Workaround is to import Arquero:

import { aq } from '@uwdata/arquero'

could you gives examples of how BigQuery named parameters can work?
the `BigQuery can use named (`@age`, `@name`, …)` :

tried both `dbbigq.query(` SELECT ... @name`, [ name ])` which ends up `Error: Named parameters are not supported at [33:25]`;
or `dbbigq.query(`SELECT ... @name`, { name })` got `Error: Bad request`,

have to change to the ordered form `dbbigq.query(` SELECT ... ?`, [ name ])` which is the only way can work;
