This application analyzes and generates local news stories based on available U.S. Postal Service data that contains the number of change-of-address requests filed by businesses and individuals each month of each year since 2019 and through — at this time — October of 2022. Using a couple of filters to select a range of years, a state and a city you can essentially write a 500 to 600 word story about the net increase/decrease in businesses that filed change of address requests, the five ZIP codes with the largest decrease, the five with the largest increase and what things look like across a given state. There is too much data to check everything, and computers only do what you tell them to * I went through each figure and made sure they were lined up.
