4 of a kind means 4 of our cards have the same denominations (like 4 spades). First, we have to think of what denominations we are going to choose and what suits they are going to be. Since we are choosing 5 cards in each exercise, this means we are going to have 2 denominations.

a full house consists of getting three(3) cards of one denomination and two(2) cards of another. The approach here is picking the denominations first, then picking the suits.

All cards have the same suit and it could be of any denomination and we need five of them

So we are choosing 5 denominations out of 13 and they all have the same suit.
