\nWhile I have done a lot of Japanese output already (traveling to Japan, staying with 'host families' and especially due to starting it in a classroom setting), I determined that I really needed to focus on input. While my comprehension is high, my speaking wasn't very natural. By listening and reading I was able to be exposed to the language more and absorb repeated and natural expressions.
