To start, select a participant and interval to jump to a Participant Week node. Then click into adjacent nodes by clicking a button in the "Focus" column. ## Gadget Glossary These are nodes created by the credrank algorithm for the generation of cred scores. - **Participant Week** - a node that represents a Participant during a particular week. A participant is represented in the graph not by 1 node, but by a collection Participant Week nodes. - **Week Accumulator** - a node that represents the cred earned during a particular week. A participant's "Earned Cred" in a given week is the portion of cred that flows from their Participant Week node for that week to the Week Accumulator node for that week. - **Seed Node** - The node where all cred eventually flows to, and where all cred gets minted from. ## PAQ (potentially asked questions) #### Why are Participant Weeks connected to each other? This was done to "smooth the curve" of a participant's cred week over week to make income more stable. #### Why do all nodes send cred to the Seed Node? We call this "evaporation" and it has something to do with pagerank theory I think? #### Why do Participant Weeks flow cred towards comments and emoji reacts? This is a sort of "staking" whereby users with cred can make a post more "credible". This didn't cost users cred in the old algorithm, but now in credrank it does cost cred. 😕 #### Can we change this stuff?
