Learn from educators using Observable

The following stories are from teachers using Observable for class.

An open approach to data visualization education at the University of Washington

Jon Froehlich uses Observable to open his teaching environment with collaborative and accessible learning experiences for fourth-year undergrads

UC Berkeley professors use Observable to teach data visualization at scale

With a single source of truth for core teaching materials, instructors can keep projects and assignments consistent across sections.

Showing math students the concepts, and the code behind them

Mark McClure has been teaching mathematics at UNC Asheville since 1997. As his teaching expanded to include data visualization, so have the techniques he uses in Observable.

Observable transforms exploratory data analysis for data science students

Philip Bogden, professor of computer science at Northeastern University, describes how he uses Observable in graduate-level data science courses.
