It's still dynamic, it's just too fast to see (change Generators.observe to Generators.queue below to see every step).

I see, thanks! Would it make sense to use .queue() by default whenever "show dynamic" is checked?

As this is a demo notebook, why not :) In general I think people are more interested by the end result, but enjoy seeing that the process is “making progress” when they have lots of data — maybe we could have something like a progress bar while this is running? I'm not sure how you know that it has stopped.

Very nice! You might consider setting the chart aspect ratio to 1 so distances between points don't become too distorted

@jonhelfman It's already set though? The tickSpacing for x and y defaults to different values (80 and 35) which can give the impression of a non-square ratio.
