Within this age group, females aged 15-29 and males aged 30-44 had a higher incidence of suicides associated with hero worship. * In comparison to other states in India, West Bengal had a higher prevalence of suicides linked to "Failure in Examination" as cause of death among both males and females in the age groups of 0-14 and 15-29. * Compared to other states in India, Maharashtra had a higher number of suicides among males across all age groups associated with drug abuse or addiction.
