We found these datasets on Kaggle, a data science community with data resources. The data was scraped from the websites Metacritic and VGChartz. This sources includes data surrounding video game sales and ratings in different countries for PS4, XBOX and other platforms (Wii, DS).

For the PS4 data set, there are 9 features and 1,031 observations.
For the XBOX data set, there are 10 features and 11,562 observations.
For the data set including all other platforms, there are 16 features and 613 observations.

Some questions we can answer from these data sources are: 1. Which platforms sold the most games in (North America, Japan, EU) in (2016, 2017)? 2. Which countries had the most video game sales in (2008, 2009)? 3. Which genre (Action, Sports, Role-Playing, etc) of games sold the most units in (North America, Japan, EU)? 4. Which platform sold the highest rating games? (user score, critic count) 5. Which developers sold the most units globally? 6. Which game sold the most units globally?`4d:[] 48:{"id":"29040630ea059c32","slug":"part-1-project-proposal","title":"Part 1: Project Proposal","thumbnail":"9037930405c36cb014fd9b0d53effcc4f7dbaf84fee7e8cf58eca6e8a84304b7","access_level":"public","create_time":"$D2020-04-30T00:27:14.757Z","update_time":"$D2020-04-30T01:30:52.318Z","view_time":null,"first_public_time":"$D2020-04-30T00:27:35.610Z","has_unpublished_edits":null,"fork":false,"stars":0,"starred":false,"owner":{"type":"team","id":"d534f9cbd78a5d1b","login":"info474","name":"Spring 2020 Info Vis","avatar_url":"https://avatars-next.observableusercontent.com/bc5856eb18c3c3e1af37bf9d0984feaa59a0adac48ed6171d34157997208d12d","tier":"education_2026","bio":"UW iSchool Course INFO 474: focused on designing and building visualizations to better understand and communicate about pressing issues.
