Sure - not definitive, but Bob suggested that the Education track might be a half day, so our activity could give us a full day of education, which might be nice.

This could be wider than DIVERSE CDT students. It could involve small group discussions where we give students some framework/structure to share their work -- we can do something creative and fun -- e.g, sketch your PhD or use playdough or something like that.

Yeah - needs to be fun and useful. And you're right, probably open. This is the bit I am least certain about. What to do in an hour that is genuinely useful for PhD students? We need ideas & experience, and I am a bit short on these here!

It depends who is in the room for this. This feels like an activity more geared towards academics rather than the Phd students. We might want to think how we can make this a co-design-ish activity that both seniors and PhD students would be interested to engage with. Alternatively, we can cut this shorter and spend more time with the first activity where students share and learn from one another. It depends of course how many PhD students we are able to recruit. If we wanted to consolidate, this could be the session to cut out?

I'd hoped that this would be useful for teachers and PhD students (some of whom become teachers, and some of whom will be interested in having their voice heard to contribute to better experiences for others). Is that realistic?
