This model is based on temporal distances which means that we compare the time needed by a player to reach a certain location in function of his initial position and speed. Therefore, a point close to you in term of spatial distances can be away because you need to change your initial speed. The approximations made here are exactly the same as in the article. And we use the following method to obtain the equation of the temporal distance : Without loss of generality, we will determine the time it takes for a player at a given position and with a given speed to reach the point ${tex`(x,y)=(0,0)`}. Initially the velocity of the player at position ${tex `(x(0),y(0))`} is ${tex `(u(0),v(0))`}. We will consider that the player will use a constant force (per unit mass) in a given direction, of strength ${tex `|F|^2=F_x^2 + F_y^2`}. This is an assumption which allows to find a simple analytical solution. In particular, it allows to consider the two directions separately. Newton's law writes :`34:T8eb,field = (bgColor) => { const BOX_HEIGHT = (16.5*2 + 7.32)/ySize*100, BOX_WIDTH = 16.5/xSize*100, GOAL = 7.32/ySize*100, GOAL_AREA_HEIGHT = 5.4864*2/ySize*100 + GOAL, GOAL_AREA_WIDTH = 5.4864/xSize*100, strokeColor = bgColor == 'white' ?
