Allows fast querying such as - _Are these two things connected?_ - _If I connect these two things (via `union(n1,n2)`), what groups do I get?_ - _How many separate groups are there?_ Useful when needing to rapidly count numbers of components (disjoint sets) that arise from nodes connected via edges in a graph.
