Two things jump out. 1. The flow of passes is predominantly L-R, meaning that the data for the adversarial teams is mirrored and superimposed. 2. The algorithm processing the footage had many false positives identifying the ball when it crosses markings on the pitch, hence the clear empty spots. Beautiful viz 👏
