In the beginning, there was the triple: ``` "object" . ``` Then, in order to attribute a triple, there was "standard" reification^[i,ii] ``` rdf:subject . rdf:predicate . rdf:object "object" . prov:wasAttributedTo . ``` which has fallen out of favor and into disrepair. One proposes, instead "RDF Star"^[a,b], to do it right, as ``` << "object" >> prov:wasAttributedTo . ``` to indicate that it is to be excluded from simple entailment, or as ``` << "object" >> prov:wasAttributedTo . ``` to indicate that it is to be available. OK, but what ever happened to ``` [ rdf:object "object" ; prov:wasAttributedTo ] . ``` which is one of the 108 alternative two-statement equivalents for a qualified triple alluded to by ^[1]. They do not investigate it, as their "goal [was] to evaluate existing, well-known proposals." As it is not in the form of a general n-ary relation, it is also not investigated by ^{[2,3,4,5,6,7]}, which are more concerned to represent instances of the respective abstract class, than to qualify specific individual relations with arbitrary properties.
