You could set initial parameters that get some selected data

The sort function parameter should be a function that returns a positive value if a is sorted before b. Therefore, in your case the <symbol isn't correct and the call should be: selectedList = seldata.sort((a,b) => b.Weight_in_lbs - a.Weight_in_lbs)

I expected an HTML table and not a table from inputs, but it's also ok!
