En ese repositorio puedes descargar toda la información en varias presentaciones, incluyendo una que contiene absolutamente todo en menos de 15MB. - La página donde estás ahora es un juguete para explorar casualmente esta información. 2) Existen **limitaciones** como - Las definiciones de enfermedades y eventos, grupos de población y municipios son reproducidas directamente desde reportes oficiales. En esta página intento enriquecer esta información para facilitar su lectura, por ejemplo colocando mejores nombres a grupos de población y clasificándolos para aplicar colores. Sin embargo, existen muchas tareas posibles de etiquetado que harían a estos datos más correctos, legibles y útiles, y que dejo pendientes. - Por ejemplo, muchas enfermedades y eventos se repiten entre múltiples años y sería muy útil tener series interanuales. Sin embargo, establecer esas conexiones requiere alguien que conozca el contenido de los formularios mucho mejor que yo y pueda decir con confianza que dos enfermedades con nombres similares entre dos años son realmente una misma. Además, los criterios que el gobierno utiliza para agregar y presentar esta información cambian todo el tiempo. Los rangos de edad, la presencia de indicadores de sexo o si el caso es registrado dentro o fuera de un establecimiento de salud, cambian entre enfermedades y años. Estos cambios incrementan la complejidad de construir series interanuales. - Los mapas muestran un aproximación al número de casos por millón de habitantes en municipios del país. Este valor depende del tamaño de la población en cada municipio. Una aproximación correcta utilizaría el tamaño de la población en el mismo grupo demográfico y año de los casos. Por ejemplo, para estimar _el número de casos por millón entre mujeres de 15 a 19 años en 2009_ debería utilizar _la población de mujeres de 15 a 19 años en 2009_ dentro de cada municipio. Sin embargo, no encuentro valores para todas las poblaciones y años presentes en estos datos. Así que, en lugar de mostrar mapas con valores absolutos (*que predeciblemente reflejarían la distribución geográfica de la población*), utilizo el tamaño de la población en 2012 para todos los casos. Si el objetivo es normalizar la prevalencia de enfermedades entre municipios, la población de 2012 es el valor más confiable y accesible, además de encontrarse a la mitad del periodo de estudio.
