The initial state does not show the chord diagram. You may want to factor the main part of onDragMove out into a separate function so that you can call it to initialize the chart, without requiring an initial drag. Alternatively you could invoke onDragMove() with a fake object that contains all the required data, something like: onDragMove.call({dragging: true, y: 0, data: ... })
