when i read that the example below fails i interpret it as the entire example fails and expected to see a successful example following it. Could we just choose another icon like the clock to make it pre-attentive so we don't have to fail in the documentation?

I've selected differentiable icons and minimized this part (by removing the sentence about failure as well as the complete text/emoji example).

I thought the emoji chart was a nice, fun technique that was good to include and I’m bummed you removed it! Though perhaps it would be better over in the text mark notebook.

i think it could be great as a simpler precursor to the stem and leaf plot in the text mark. then we could also link directly to it from here

I removed it because I felt it was a bit distracting from the main point of this notebook. But I don't mind putting it back :)

It's unfortunately necessary for "Download as PNG" to work. But we can definitely move it to a separate notebook on this particular technical issue.

Right, that feels like a separate topic (that we can fix more generally rather than working around it with Plot).
