Hi Saneef, thanks for including the background color option. Still one wish: how about making the default "none" or "transparent" rather than ""#f4f4f4". Feels more natural to me.

My colleagues primarily use PDFView for multi-page PDFs (almost all of them are white pages). In that instance, without a frame, the components looses its 'wholeness'. See, https://d.pr/i/fewUMz. So, I prefer to keep the frame by default.
