You'll probably have to use emoji for everything, e.g. "🌌" for outer space and "🌊" for the ocean. :)

I would have suggested to try a monospace webfont with emoji support, but so far my search hasn't yielded a single one with consistent character width. (Fun fact: entering an emoji into the Google Fonts text preview breaks the preview.)

That's good to know given the spotty emoji support, but this font doesn't contain any latin characters, right? Which means that you again end up with a mixture of fonts.

use "em quad" or U+2001	&#8193.  I'll put one here between these letter "x". x x
