The entire piece of code is a variable declaration. Its job is to prepare the `data` table (an array of objects). Let's go through it piece by piece. **The first piece:** ```ts await d3.csv("https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rfordatascience/tidytuesday/main/data/2025/2025-06-24/cases_year.csv", { autoType: true }) ``` This line downloads the data from the specified URL, and reads it into an array of objects. It uses the `csv` function to do this, because the data is in "comma-separated value" (CSV) format.
