This map was created for an undergraduate architecture class in order to analyze the potential for vertical extensions on existing buildings to help alleviate the need for housing in NYC. Our group chose to focus on Norwood in the Bronx in particular because of its need for mixed-income housing and educational investment. Thank you for your interest in our project!

Oct 22, 2025Hi, if you'd like to make changes to your notebook without breaking the version that others are seeing, you can select "Pause live editing" from the notebook menu: https://observablehq.com/documentation/collaboration/pause-live-edits
Edit: Be careful not to delete file attachments that are referenced by the paused version though, as those are not currently versioned.
