The idiom used for this visualization is a type of network graph called **Force Directed Graph**. - **Encode->Arrange->Separate:** D3 forces are used to separate and connect the nodes. Firstly, the 'link' force is used to connect related nodes. Secondly, a 'charge' force is used to separate unrelated (unlinked) nodes.
