I though the objective was to assign a color for each category... even I have added a Y scale for making easier to compare among flavors and sizes as it was quite difficult to take a conclusion of this chart. Re-reading the text... maybe you were expecting to perform a heatmap color scheme among these charts?

No, no. You understood the assignment perfectly. This IS what I meant: a categorical scale, I was just laughing at the fact that you manually chose shades of blue. You used blue shades for every graphic.
