Add a color legend to this chart. Orange is career prizes, blue is book prizes.

Also, I don't know if I love the way this is rendered... might randomize rows or something to make it prettier.

Add Camille's gender chart.

Also, try and make it the same colors as the default one.

Filter repeated authors, it prevents from over-representing a group that might have just had authors that won a bunch of times or something of the sort.

This could also be an interesting idea to explore. (Meaning, like authors that get repeated and stuff because out of like 2777 wins, only 1777 of them are won by like distinct authors.)

I don't know if pie chart is the best for this (but maybe it's just because I'm low-key (high-key) a pie chart hater) because there are a couple of non-binary/unknown gender authors that can't be significantly represented.

Maybe we could do like the dot to keep it in theme? IDK

I think we can still use the pie chart for the nature of this narrative will get more difficult if more genders are included

Ok I took the liberty of editing this chart so that it just consolidates the different categories into differents views in the same chart. So that it's more interactive and reduves the overwhelming effect of three pie charts in a row.

Also I think it would be nice to add like an extra static line chart or smth to give like a big picture view of it all.

Thank you so much! I agree it was overwhelming but I thought it might be nice to the evolution of all pie chart at the same time. I don't think it's possible to have them all next to each other in observable though :(
