2) no there is not CURRENTLY dithering but it absolutely crossed my mind. in fact I already wrote some dithering code a few days ago for day-8's notebook (https://observablehq.com/@mattdzugan/joy-of-scribbles-recreating-bob-ross-paintings-with-12-colo?collection=@mattdzugan/genuary-2021) so it might not be a huge lift!
