[They are over here](https://rdmurphy.observablehq.cloud/la-county-2024-general-election-results-trends/)!** Hello! 👋 I set up this [handy scraper](https://github.com/rdmurphy/scrape-la-county-election-results-2024) that collects election result updates from [LA County RR/CC](https://www.lavote.gov) as they are made available. This makes it possible to track across time how each data release alters the cumulative vote totals and look around for interesting trends/races. Want this data for yourself? [It's available and open source on GitHub](https://github.com/rdmurphy/scrape-la-county-election-results-2024). If you have suggestions or comments please send them my way! I can be found on Mastodon at [@ryan@social.lol](https://social.lol/@ryan) and on Bluesky at [@ryan.fail](https://bsky.app/profile/ryan.fail). (I'm also on Twitter at [@rdmurphy](https://twitter.com/rdmurphy) but I'm not around there much anymore. Will see it if anyone messages me, however!) #### How to interpret the three March 5 values - March 5 (1) represents the initial count of **mail-in** ballots received prior to election day. ([source](https://x.com/LACountyRRCC/status/1765232356741529842?s=20)) - March 5 (2) represents the count of **early in-person** ballots. ([source](https://x.com/LACountyRRCC/status/1765236831271231696?s=20)) - March 5 (3) represents the count of **day-of** ballots. ([source](https://x.com/LACountyRRCC/status/1765318850403500291?s=20)) Use the select box below to choose a race and the charts will all update to reflect your selection.
