He extends this style into his analysis of the emotions, showing how it is possible to compose every emotion from just three foundational experiences: \"joy\", \"sadness\", and \"desire\". His \"geometric\" method enabled me to record and visualize the relationships between emotions he describes.\n\nWhile it may seem strange to take seriously a theory of human emotions put forward in 1677 today, neroscientist Antionio Damasio observes, \"many of the advances on the science of emotions and feeling are constant with proposals that Spinoza began to articulate\" (\"Looking for Spinoza\", p. 14).\n`","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":24,"value":"viewof edgeColor = Object.assign(html``, {\n value: new URLSearchParams(html``.search).get(\"color\") || \"input\"\n})","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":22,"value":"viewof align = Object.assign(html``, {\n value: new URLSearchParams(html``.search).get(\"align\") || \"left\"\n})","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":20,"value":"$45","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":116,"value":"$46","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":18,"value":"sankey = {\n const sankey = d3.sankey()\n .nodeId(d => d.name)\n .nodeAlign(d3[`sankey${align[0].toUpperCase()}${align.slice(1)}`])\n .nodeWidth(15)\n .nodePadding(10)\n .extent([[1, 5], [width - 1, height - 5]]);\n return ({nodes, links}) => sankey({\n nodes: nodes.map(d => Object.assign({}, d)),\n links: links.map(d => Object.assign({}, d))\n });\n}","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":16,"value":"format = {\n const format = d3.format(\",.0f\");\n return format;\n}","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":15,"value":"color = {\n const color = d3.scaleOrdinal(d3.schemeCategory10);\n return d => color(d.category === undefined ? d.name : d.category);\n}","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":13,"value":"data = ({\n nodes: defAff.map(({name, quotation}) => ({name, category: name, definition: `\"${quotation}\"`})),\n links: defAff.reduce((acc, def) => {\n if (def.refs.length < 1) {\n return acc;\n }\n \n const links = def.refs.map((ref) => ({\n source: ref,\n target: def.name,\n value: def.refs.length\n }));\n \n\t return [...acc, ...links];\n }, [])\n});","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":10,"value":"$47","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":7,"value":"width = 950;","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":6,"value":"height = 600;","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"},{"id":4,"value":"d3 = require(\"d3@6\", \"d3-sankey@0.12\");","pinned":false,"hidden":false,"mode":"ojs","author":"$undefined","summary":"$undefined","tool":"$undefined","providerMetadata":"$undefined","attachments":"$undefined","output":"$undefined","database":"$undefined"}],"files":"$W48","stdlib":"1"}} 44:"$43:body"
