Over the past month, the Observable Ambassadors took on the annual #30DayMapChallenge, a community effort to collaboratively create maps focused on various human interest and business-focused topics. This year, Observable Ambassadors created a wide variety of mappings including incarceration rates, greenhouse gas emissions, Japanese fermentation techniques, and even the importing of flowers.
These maps were inspired by daily categories for the challenge, including polygons, hexagons, boundaries, and elevation. Check out this Observable Collection to see the full list, but here are a few great highlights.
